Application for the New Product Development Award

•  General Application Requirements: 

1. Applications must be submitted in Arabic or English only.
2. Submitted works must not have been previously entered in any other national or international awards or competitions.
3. Winners may reapply only after three years from the date of their previous win.
4. Applicants can apply to only one award category.
5. All application files are confidentially stored at the Secretariat and will not be returned to applicants, whether they win or not.
6. Applicants must specify the framework under which the work was conducted, including partners, stakeholders, and funding sources.

• Specific Requirements for the New Product Development Category:

1.  Written requests must be submitted on the institution’s official letterhead confirming that the results/innovations are solely the applicant’s own research (for individuals).
2. If the applicant is an organization, the application must be submitted by the head of the organization (universities, research centers, private companies, institutions, or startups).

•  General Required Documents: 

1. Application form (to be completed in Arabic or English only).
2. Statement specifying the framework under which the work was conducted, including potential partners, stakeholders, and sources of funding.
3. A written declaration confirming that the submitted work has not been previously entered in any national or international awards or competitions.
4. Identification documents (for individuals) or commercial registration/license (for organizations).
5. CV of the participant or the team.

• Specific Documents for the New Product Development Category:

1. A written request on the institution’s official letterhead confirming that the results/innovations are solely the applicant’s own research (for individuals).
2. If the applicant is an organization, the application must be submitted by the head of the organization (university, research center, private company, institution, or startup).

  Please note: All submitted materials and attachments will be securely stored at the Secretariat of the National Center for Palm and Dates Award and will not be returned, regardless of the outcome.
